There is another way to show that something will happen in the future. it follows the formula [am/is/are] + going to + [root form verb].

INTRODUCTION

Simple future is a verb tense that’s used to talk about things that haven’t happened yet. This tense is often called the "will tense" because we make the Future Simple with the modal auxiliary will.

Will can be used in expressing rapid decisions, or a future action that you have decided on at the moment of speaking.
