OHS
- OHS deals with the social, mental, and physical well-being of workers in all occupations.
- Primarily concerned with the prevention of damage to and loss of lives and properties and also the protection of workers from work-related.

Safety MEASURES
Fire
- Never leave cooking unattended
- Unplug all electric equipment that are not in use
- Repair or discard defective appliances
Electrocution
- Never plug or unplug appliances with wet hands or feet
- Turn off the appliances before unplugging
- Do not touch open wires
Safety MEASURES
Burns
- Lift the lid away from your face when peeking into a boiling pot
- Turn pot and pan handles away from you or in a walking path to prevent knocking off accidentally
- Let the pot or pan cool down a bit before handling, use pot holders for safety
Cuts and wounds
- Throw away broken glass
- Store knives safely in a knife block
- Do not attempt to catch a falling knife
Good kitchen hygiene
- Remove rings or any unnecessary items wearable, and wash hands properly before you start.
- Wear proper kitchen attire.
- Clean the counters and any tools to be used.
- Wash fruit and veggies.
- Keep raw food chilled.
