It comes from rock, couse in the 1970s music was influenced by rock. Pop rock is for a younger public. The singers try to do songs as catchy as possible. The exponents: John Lennon in the 70s, the Queen in 80s and Coldplay in the last years

It's a genre for teenagers, and it's made by teen artist as well. The songs last 3 min, they are catchy, they talk about the teenage years. Nowadays the most exponents are Rihanna, Avril Lavigne, the Blue.

It's a tipe of music for disco. It's very electric with beats, gooves and rhythms. It's catchy with a pop base and the lyrics is easy. Borned in the 80s now it's one of the most used genre. The biggest expontes are Ariana Grande, Justine Bieber, Rita Ora, Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga and a lot more.

why are they so listened

Personally I listen to them couse I like pop: it's not to much, but it's not boring either. Teenagers like them couse as we see all their genre are for teenagers and the songs talk about teenage problems and they're catchy
