I had lunch, I picked up the kids, I played with them, I made dinner and then I finished my chores

Negative form: Regular verbs

  • Didn't I tell you?
  • She didn't call me last night.
  • Did he invite you?

Examples

He didn't mean it

You didn't finish your food

She didn't sleep well

Your mom didn't say you can do that

What did you do last week-end?

Popcorn, blankets and movies

My favorite musician

What did you do last weekend?

Last week-end I went to my grandparent's house. My grandpa was a musician when he was young. We played a lot of songs with his guitar.

  • Did you go out with friends?
  • Did you cook?
  • Did you play the guitar?
  • Did you watch a movie?
  • Did you stay home?
  • Did you go shopping?

I stayed home with mom and dad. I was sick and they didn't want me to go outside. We watched my favorite movie: Frozen!

Question Form

DID

  • Did I do something wrong? I don't know what I did to her
  • Did you call me last night?

Cuidado!

Example

  • Did you miss me?
  • Did they go to the park?
  • Did we make the beds? I don't remember
  • Did you finish your homework?
  • Did you do that?
  • Didnt' anybody tell you?

I’m a Believer

Smash mouth

I thought love was only true in fairy tales Meant for someone else, but not for me Love was out to get me That's the way it seemed Disappointment haunted all my dreams Then I saw her face, now I'm a believer Not a trace, of doubt in my mind I'm in love, I'm a believer I couldn't leave her if I tried I thought love was more or less a givin' thing The more I gave, the less I got, oh yeah What's the use in tryin' All you get is pain When I wanted sunshine, I got rain And then I saw her face, now I'm a believer Not a trace, of doubt in my mind I'm in love, I'm a believer I couldn't leave her if I tried

What's the use of trying All you get is pain When I wanted sunshine, I got rain And then I saw her face, now I'm a believer Not a trace, of doubt in my mind I'm in love, I'm a believer I couldn't leave her if I tried Then I saw her face, now I'm a believer Not a trace, of doubt in my mind Now I'm a believer, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Now I'm a believer Then I saw her face Now I'm a believer Not a trace, of doubt in my mind

I was lost, but you found me Hiding in the shadows from my destiny And you saw things that no one else could see You saved me when I was my worst enemy It feels so good to be alive Just you and me tonight Don't wake me up from this high What a beautiful life I heard your heart call mine And then all the stars aligned Don't wake me up from this high What a beautiful life

Spread through me like a wild flame I feel it in my veins I'll never ever be the same I'll never be the same Cheers to the thing money can't buy Can't buy what I feel inside This thing, I can't deny Our pretty little paradise It feels so good to be alive Just you and me tonight Don't wake me up from this high What a beautiful life I heard your heart call mine And then all the stars aligned Don't wake me up from this high What a beautiful life
