As of March 2021, the rate of reported cases of COVID-19 in First Nations people living on a reserve is currently 187 per cent higher than the rate for the general Canadian population.
Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) has 25,923 confirmed Indigenous COVID-19 cases, with 1,160 hospitalizations.
