ways to conserve nonrenewable resources
nsc mini task 1
Reduce, reuse, recycle
less reliabiliity on said nonrenewable resources
The 3 R's are a really basic action that can provide plenty of benefits that will easily become a habbit instead of something you have to be reminded of. CLAYGO and SAYGO are easy enough to follow but we should also bereminded of the old appliances we inproperly dispose. Mercury and used oil to name a few. The excess greenhouse gases might be released into the atmospere.
Consider the use of alternative and renewable resources such as solar power and wind power, instead of using natural gas and coal that are more detrimental tothe environment, why not start investing on these new resources? Oil, gas, and coal are so last season anyway. That way, you stay on trend and on the right path.
Social action and education around sustainability
A simple post is all you need in this day and age. Unfortunately, people are more interested in a celeb's love life than their own planet. We can all participate in breaking the cycle just by simply posting or sharing a fun looking poster. There are plenty of people living their days without even knowing the Paris Agreement exists and we have to remedy that. Our school is already doing good by practicing CLAYGO and SAYGO as well as spreading the message for us. So why don't we share it to the rest of the world?
Using Fully electric vehicles
Create/participate in movements that encourage it
For those with money to spare whynot buy an electric vehicle instead? With gas prices rising every few years depending on the country's economy, buy an electronic vehicle and that pesky black smoke and greenhouse gases are bygones. What's more you can even use solar panels to charge your vehicle, the prices are high comparable to a Tesla X (with Elon Musk designing his own electric vehicle) but it won't be long before it lowers from demand.
One only needs to look at the ParisAgreement to know what I'm talking about. Even if it's not specifically for nonrenewable energy, as long as you even donate the least you can for a movement or small project about reducing greenhouse gas emmissions then you're already helping to solve the problem bit by bit.
