My ideal school

1. School building

In my opinion a perfect school should have big spaces like classrooms, gyms and laboratories to make more confortable the learning and even more suggesting.

2.The ideal classroom

Pros of the table groups layout:

1. Social interaction is encouraged2. Lessons tend to be dynamic and very engaging. 3. Differentiation can be easily achieved.

3. The organization of the school

The school year will be divided into two periods composed by four months. Classes will start in Semptember and end in June.

a typical day of school starts at about 8:30 a.m. and ends around 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Between one lesson and other there will be a five / ten minute break.

4. A typical day at school

The lunch break will take place from 12:30 to 13:00 in the canteen.

Extracurricular activities are typically scheduled in the afternoons

3.The possibility to choose subjects

At my ideal school, students can choose the subjects the want to study. However, some subjects will be compulsory such as mathematics, English, a second foreign language of your choice and physical education.

4. the school should develop students' creativity

There will be a lot of extracurricular activities : poetry club, biology club, drama, faschion design ,student music band, dance, volleyball, football and tennis.

5. The elimination of homework

In my opinion, students can receive a solid, well-rounded education without doing any homework. I think the lessons should have an initial theoretical part after which it should be applied what has been studied previously to the practice. During the afternoon, Student's time can be better spent reading, engaged in a sport/activity, or bonding with family members.

6. A school without grades

In my ideal school, formal grades are not used, but narrative and very detailed reports are employed to comment on the students' work. This method helps to motivate students, that do not feel judged.

7.The use of debate

The oral exam ​is based only on the repetition of notions that are forgotten as soon as the exam ends. For this reason,teacher should use the debate which allows to understand the knowledge of students without creating anxiety and without studying by heart.

8.Interactive teaching activities

Interactive teaching is all about instructing the students in a way they are actively involved with their learning process.

9. School and the real life

The school should teach students how to cope with real life. For example, teachers should explain what taxes are and how they are paid, how to open a bank account, how to invest money, how the Italian political system works ...

9.Teachers

In a perfect school there should be a good relationship between students and professors, based on respect and order. An ideal teacher have to motivate their students to work hard in class. He or she should make students feel real comfortable and confident in the classrooms as possible.
