Prison Reforms
Resolving
Educational programs are needed for prison inmates not serving a life sentence in order to prevent recidivism in America
Finding The Problem
Step1
Finding the problem in prison reforms being a lack of education and rehabilitation programs for prisoners who arent on a life sentence meaning they are more inclined to stay criminals
Get the Word Out
Start sharing inmates who repretitively been in and out of jail and prove how an educational dn rehabilitation program would benefit not just state wide but nation wide
Step2
Talk to a Representative
Step3
Find a local representaive for your district and show all the evidence from other states as well as sharing personal stories of inmated going through it and see what needs to be done to help start a movement
Draft A Bill
Step4
While talking to a representative and seeing the possible steps to take to make this a real change start drafting a reform bill that would benefit and interest other politicians to sign and debate on for change
Vote On It
If all goes well then the debates start in state legislative to see what funding needs to be done and or provide free programs from volunteers to help prisons improve their lives and better the community when released from sentance
