ALTHOUGH:ALTHOUGH HE TOLD HIM TO CALL A TAXI, HE WALKED HOME

Hi Martin, I am happy to hear that you are doing okay. From what you said in your e-mail, I understand that you have problems with a friend that is ignoring you. My advice for you is that you should try to talk to them. However, this can be hard if they don't want to talk to you at all. If your friend blames you for something, you could apologize to them. Maybe it is better to wait for them to talk to you instead. But don't let him exclude you from the group! Anyway, write to me soon and tell me what happened. On the one hand, if you give him time, he might change his mind and go talk to you. On the other hand, he might forget about you, so you have to accept whatever he decides. Good luck! Steve

IS THIS E-MAIL OF ADVICE CORRECT?CHECK THE STRUCTURE, USE OF GRAMMAR, USE OF VOCABULARY,USE OF CONECTORS AND MEANING

Hey Lucas, How are you ? I am sorry to hear your parents are angry at you because they think you skipped classes. Maybe they will forgive you if you would apologize. On the other hand, they could be angry for other time. You told me in your e-mail that you didn’t do anything wrong, so you should tell your parents you agree with them. My advice is to ask your parents to call the school and ask before criticizing you. If you share your feelings with them, they might listen to you. It is not fair that they are blaming you because you always obey them. You can also talk to your father alone, he always listen to you more. Tell me if decide to follow my advise, Kevin

HOMEWORK: Now, you have to correct each other, checking the following things: 1. STRUCTURE: Use of the structure for the e-mail of advice (problem, ideas or solutions, possible results) 2. VOCABULARY: Use of the vocabulary of the unit in a correct way 3. GRAMMAR: Use of the Conditionals in a correct way 4. CONNECTORS: Use of connectors of contrast in a correct way 5. For example, in the sentence: If you go to the beach, you would swim in the sea There is a mistake with the use of the First Conditional, so you underline it, and you write the number 3, because is the number for “Grammar” in the list. If you go to the beach, you would swim in the sea (3) If you have any questions about how to do this, write me an e-mail, I will answer inmediately: itziarvillarmorales@gmail.com
