A jongleur is an artist from the middle ages that offered a show and played a song if people gave him food or money. Jongleurs also participated in special banquets organised by the king.

When? - In the Middle Ages(from v - xv century)Where? - In Europe in the Middle AgesTopic? - They were epic poems and some of them had mithical and fantasy features too.Types of songs - First, there were Primitive Jongleurs(Small epic poems) then, "Cantares de Gesta"(Longer epic poems) and finally "Juglar de romances".

TROUBADOUR

They were composers and performers from the middle ages, they composed their own songs and wrote them on a songbook, a book which was decorated and had a small section explaining the life of that Troubadour.
