We use the simple present: To talk about general truths.
Ex: The sun rises in the east. To talk about habits or routines. Ex: I wake up at 7:00 a.m. To describe people, animals, places and things.

SIMPLE PRESENT AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCES
I walk to school every day. We go to the airport every year. You go to buy to the supermarket. They sing in the theater every weekend.
SIMPLE PRESENT affirmative sentences
For the third person singular, we add “S” or “es” to the end of the verb She works in the hospital. He goes to the court everyday.
SIMPLE PRESENT yes/no questions
To ask question in the present simple, we use the auxiliary do and the base form of the verbDo you work in the police station? Yes, I do / No, I do notDo we play basketball at night? Yes, we do / No, we do not. Do they go to the farm every day? Yes, they do/ No, they do not. For the third person singular, we use the auxiliary does and the base form of the verb Does your brother work in the bakery? Yes, he does / No, he does not. Does your sister wake up late? Yes, she does / No, she does not.
