Dust Bowl

The Dust Bowl had lasted eight whole years The Drought had already previously begun The driest states started to fear The citizens of U.S. did not see it come The crops would not grow The market would not rise The economy was low And the agriculture industry reached its demise Living in the Dust Bowl became impossible Families tried to live their life But at the end it became much of a struggle Still it became less of a rife The federal government wanted to aid They started to plant grass and trees It took time, almost a decade The people of America were back to ease Land was dry Soil would fly Many living things started to die But now that it's over, there is no need to cry
