INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING SYSTEM
IELTS
Who is it for?
Recognised by many countries (US, UK, AUS, CA, IL, NZ), professional bodies, inmmigration authorities and government agencies.
What is the test like?
Writing: 1. Write a letter requesting information or explaining a situation. 2. Write an essay in response to a point of view, argument or problem.
There are two versions of the test: Academic or General Training. All candidates do the same Listening and Speaking section.
IELTS ACADEMIC
Reading: 3 long reading passages. Writing: 1. Sescribe, summarise or explain the information in a graph, table, chart or diagram. 2. Write an essay in response to a point of view, argument or problem
IELTS GENERAL
Reading: 1. Two or three short factual texts 2. Contains two short factual texts focusing on work-related issues 3. One longer, more complex text
SPEAKING
IELTS
The speaking test should last 15 minutes.
TITLE 01
Introduction and interview.
Part Two
Individual long turn (yo have to talk about a topic).
Part 3
Two-way discussion, also, the examiner asks further questions which are connected to the topic of part 2.
Listening
4 sections, 40 questions, 30 minutes.
Writing and reading
Writing: 60 minutes. Reading: 3 sections, 40 questions, 60 minutes.
