Saddles
Jumping saddles are specially designed to give the rider a fullward seat by slightly pushing the rider fullward into the two point jumping position for going over a fence. The fullward cut flaps allow the rider to shorten their stirrups and bring their knee higher in the saddle. The flatter seat allows the horse to adopt different seating positions. GP saddles can be used. The GP saddle was evolved from the jumping saddled, they also have knee roles but are much smaller.
Bridle
Show jumping typically allows more colourfully, bright tack although do check rules before a competition.
Nosebands Flash noseband attachment
Rubber grip reins ae common as they provide soft grip without loosing durability. They also dry instantly providing the rider security in the rain.
Caverson
Mexican grackle
Drop noseband
Boots
Open front tendon boots are commonly used because they support the horses tendons while also allowing the horses to feel the poles. On the back legs fetlock boots are typically used this is because show jumping is a fast moving sports it reduces the brushing effect of the back legs.
Other boots allowed in showjumping are overreach boots, brushing boots, tendon boots,
Bits
Dee ring bit is a combination of a full cheek and and egg butt. Helps incourage turning similar to a full check without being too big.
similar to a loose ring bit although the two rings at the bottom allow the rider to change the strength of the bit.
A loose ring bit is designed to more freely in the horses mouth, moving side to side and vertical more than most bits. This allows the rider to make more suttle morements when giving the horse comands.
The egg-butt snaffle is designed to encourage the horse to lean fullward into the bit. ideal for a sensitive horse who needs stability.
