Infinitive of purpose

We use infinitive of purpose to answer the question ''why''.

I go to the library to read a book. - Why do you go to the library? + To read a book.

She went to the store to buy milk. - Why did she go to the store? + To buy milk.

Sometimes, we can start with the infinitive of purpose.

To learn Japanese, I went to Japan. I went to Japan to learn Japanese.

To have fun, she listens to music. She listens to music to have fun.
