THE INFINITIVE

What is the infinitive?

It’s the verb you find in the dictionary. It ends in either -AR -ER -IR In English, you can put “to” in front” of it.

TO WATCH = VER/MIRAR

TO EAT = COMER

TIME TO LEARN ABOUT THE CONDITIONAL

The conditional tense allows you to express what would or could happen in the future

RECOMENDAR = TO RECOMMEND

Complete this sentence in English:

THE CONDITIONAL...

You keep the infinitive as it is (hablar, comer, beber), and just add the following endings.

It doesn’t matter if the inifintive ends in –AR, -ER or –IR, the endings are the same.

These are added on to the END of the INFINITIVE verbs
