- the film shows a city where people are controlled by prejudice and the racism they experience

Farhad: - Iranian shop owner - fires a gun at Daniel
Cameron and Christine Thayer: - Afro- american couple - they had a conflict with officer Ryan

- As a protest they confirm the people`s prejudices by behaving the way people
expect them to behave
- Anthony discovers illegal immigrants in a van he has stolen and decides to free
them

- In a stop and frisk, the racist officer John Ryan stops the car of the Afro-American
couple Cameron and Christine Thayer
- While Officer Ryan sexually harasses Christine, Cameron is frozen in fear
- Christine accuses him of not defending her
- Cameron starts to struggle with his own identity
- Later on, Christine Thayer crashes her car and Officer Ryan saves her life
