  • the movie starts and ends with Lieutnant Graham Waters at a crime scene investigating a murder

  • While Officer Ryan sexually harasses Christine, Cameron is frozen in fear
  • Christine accuses him of not defending her - Cameron starts to struggle with his own identity
  • Later on, Christine Thayer crashes her car and Officer Ryan saves her life
