Is it usual to have online friends?

Based on our survey, 43 out of 61 people have had an online friend. By this, we can see that it is a common thing. Nowadays people use the internet a lot, mostly teens. Because of this, many people start different friendships there.

While there's a lot of positive things about the internet, it's still a huge platform which contains all sort of people. Both good and bad. Be careful while browsing!.

The correct way to start an online friendship:

• Keeping your personal information for yourself.
• Talking only with people close to your own age.
• If help is needed, you talk to a parent or an adult that you trust.
• Thinking smart!

The incorrect way to start an online friendship:

• Meeting someone that you've only known for a short period of time.
• Being short-minded.
• Not telling a person that you trust about bad experiences on the internet.
• Being reckless and not cautious while browsing on the internet.
