Fairy Dough tutorial

Create a soft playdough recipe requiring only three ingredients!

Benefits of fairydough

• It provides children with a sensorial play experince.
• It helps to develop children's fine motor skills and their pincer grasp.
• It's fun and easy to make using ingredients you can find at home!

You will need

• 1 cup of scented conditoner
• 2 cups of cornflour
• Mixing bowl,spoon,rolling pin
• Food colouring of your choice
• Glitter
• Playdough accessories

Step 1

• Measure out 1 cup of the scented conditioner and 2 cups of the cornflour.
• Transfer the conditioner to a large mixing bowl and add 1-2 drops of food colouring.
• Mix with a spoon until fully combined.

Step 2

• Add in the cornflour and slowly start to mix with a spoon.
• Stir until the mixture starts to resemble a dough.(You may need to add extra conditoner if the dough is dry)
• Then use your hands to create a soft dough.

Step 3

• When a soft dough is formed add in your glitter ensuring that it is blended all the way through.

Step 4

• Transfer the dough to a worktop and begin to knead lightly.
• Using a rolling pin gently roll out your dough.
• Finally, using your playdough cutters, cut various shapes out of the dough. Enjoy!
