Accessing the Compressor

On the latest version of City Multi VRF system (YNW) the compressor is hidden away behind the Inverter

In this section we will show you how to access the compressor in case you need to carry out testing

This is the power supply panel

The electrical control box is the panel situated on the left side at the bottom of the unit

Firstly remove the two brackets which secure the two electrical panels together

Remove the front covers

Keep the bottom bracket to hand as you will need this to hook the control box onto the unit

Cut all of the black cable ties on the left and right side of the electrical box that hold the cables securely in place

Remove the two screws on the fixing bracket

Loosen off all of the white cable clamps to allow movement

Remove the two screws securing the Electrical box to the bottom of the unit

Remove the fan plug from RYFAN1

The cables should now be loose enough to pull the Electrical control box out of the unit

Now that the control box is out of the way

Hook the control box onto the unit using the bottom bracket you removed earlier from the front panels

The compressor is fully accessible
