Day 31,Sometime past dinner, Dear Niko, It's been too long in this dark, harsh place, me and the other kids are struggling to survive and Mario as old as he is doesn't have much more time in these conditions with barely any food and with Carlo and his gang always feeding on us and our rations. I have been helping Mario protect the kids but it comes at a cost with barely any food and having them beat on me and push me to my limits, I've held back from revolting but I don't think I can hold my anger in anymore. Carlo and Venger both tried to take advantage of Lori but she's only 13. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!?!?! They are twice her age and tried to RAPE her, I had to put a stop to this, they were easily taking advantage of us and this really needed to stop, Lori was mad with me afterwards because she actually bellieved that if we gave in to those bastards we would be safer and they would stop picking on us but I can live with Lori hating me but not knowing 2 twenty year olds assualting a 13 year old girl and I did nothing about it. My aggression finally showed as I attacked Venger and I'm pretty sure I broke his arm, I couldn't hold back my suffering any longer even with knowing they will retaliate against us but I didn't realize what he would do to us. That crazy b*tch broke Mario's back and the doctors are worried he isn't going to make it. They really made me suffer, they also forced me to clean Aidan's piss on the concrete yard outside, my knuckles are covered in scrapes and yellow ooze won't stop coming out of them. Even with all the pain I'm in I can't stop worrying about Matrio because the nurses won't let me visit him, I'm planning on breaking in to the office to find him and check in on him. Please help us Niko... I need to get out of here quick. I hope you are alive and in better conditions than I am... just remember I will always love and remember you.

Entry 2

Day 32,A couple of hours past dinner, Hey Niko, Venger and his gang came up to our room last night... the kids were all scared and huddle up in the back corner of the room, me, Lori barricaded the door with one of the beds to prevent them from getting in. I knew what Venger wanted, to get me back for breaking his arm but I knew he wouldn't stop at that he would terrorize the rest of the children so we couldn't let him in and without Mario I couldn't give myself up to them yet. We made it through the night and morning and I decided to search for Mario, I asked the friendlies who were around and they didn't know anything about where Mario was. I had lost hope and thought maybe he had died, but I learned from the cafeteria lady that she thought she saw someone stumbling towards the girls bathroom so I gave a look in there and there he was crouched over the sink with a bloodied face, he told me what happened and I was absolutely pissed... Venger had been in the hospital at the time Mario was there and he threatened the nurses unless they let Mario out, so here he was left to die, he looked up at me with his winkled face and said "get out of here Josie. Nobody is safe in here anymore", and died... just like that his limp body in my arms I sobbed over him for what seemed like an hour until I got up to check on the kids. I didn't tell anyone what had happened or where Mario was, just that he was safe in the hospital resting. Before out turn for dinner a drift hit. Well, that's what we've been calling the violent storms that turn eveyone exposed to the air crazy, it wasn't our turn for dinner yet but Venger and his gang were outside in the cafeteria. The drift cam unexpectedly and we had the closest room to the cafeteria and as people crowded in I saw Venger pushing through near the back, I shoved the door closed leaving him out there. This was my chance to get rid of that bastard finally. With the door now barricaded by the beds I prayed that he would finally be gone and after hearing all the screams and shouts I did it. Sorry Niko, I just killed probably 50 people including Venger but I couldn't help myself. Please forgive me, I am not that stone cold killer I used to be, I have changed. Love you Niko, help me quick...

Reflection

In Monument 14: Savage Drift, Josie is stuck in a containment camp for people who are lost with no connection to any family members after the devastating storm that turned people crazy. Her main problem is that she is protecting around 10 children form Venger and his gang who constantly take advantage of them with their size and power, Josie can't really do anything as she only has herself, a 13 year old and a 80 year old, broken down man. If it was me I would use all of my power to somehow rid of them and keep the children safe as they shouldn't be suffering like this.
