Who created Bloom's Taxonomy?
Bloom's Taxonomy was created in 1956 under the leadership of educational psychologist Dr Benjamin Bloom in order to promote higher forms of thinking in education.
What is Bloom's Taxonomy?
Taxonomy means 'a set of classification principles', or 'structure', and Domain simply means 'category'.
Bloom's Taxonomy model is in three parts:
A) Cognitive domain:
It consisted of six major categories: Knowledge Comprehension Application Analysis Synthesis Evaluation

Why to use Bloom's Taxonomy?
** The goal of an educator’s using Bloom’s taxonomy is to encourage higher-order thought in their students by building up from lower-level cognitive skills. -Having an organized set of objectives helps teachers to: •plan and deliver appropriate instruction. •design valid assessment . •ensure that instruction and assessment are aligned with the objectives.
