What´s the environment?

.The environmet refers to everything that sorrounds us and affects ours lives. The environment includes:

• Man-made elements: such as buldings and crop fields.
• Natural elements: such as air , animals , plants and water.

Environment problems

Human activities cause serious enviromental problems

• Deforestation: deforestation is the loss of forests.
• Overexplotation: happens when we consume natural resorces more quickly than they are natuarally replenished.

• Pollution: pollution is the release of harmful subtancies into the environmete.

Water pollution this is industrial waste

Air pollution this involves gases

Climate change

.The effects of climate change vary for example:

An increse in tempeture melts the ice are the poles. When th eice melts sea leves rise.

An increase in extrem metereological phenomena, such as storms that cause floods devastating hurricanes, hetwaves,fires and long periods of drought.

.The earth is getting hotter: polluting gases have increased the tempeture of the earth's superface.

.Greenhouse gases: polluting gases are know as greenhouse gases. They let the sun's rays reach the earth , but they dont let them escape, so the tepeture increases.

Countries have adopted some mesures to deal whith the serius problem of climate change: .The kyoto protocol ( 1997 ) .The Paris agreenment ( 2005 )

The earth is geatting hotter: polluting have increased the tempeture of the earth´s superface.
