Testing the Fan Board
If LED1 is flashing on the fan board, this would normally indicate a Fan board fault
Fan motor connection on the fan board
Fan motor connection at the front of the Inverter box
Testing the Fan Board
Testing procedure
Power off the system and wait atleast 2 minutes Disconnect the fan motor at connection RYFAN1 Change SW7 dip switch 2 to the On position on Control board Power the system back on and make sure the power supply voltages are correct Activate test operation Test voltage output at RYFAN1 from neutral to each of the 3 pin connections The voltage should be the same constant voltage on all 3 connections between 90-300VAC If you have a larger VRF unit with 2 x fan motors you will need to set SW7 dip 4 on also
RYFAN1
Testing the Fan Board
SW7 dip switches 2 and 4 can be found on the control board
