Introduction
The Museum of Albacete, located in the Abelardo Sánchez park, houses an extremely interesting collection that has not stopped growing since its origin, in the last quarter of the 19th century, although it was from 1927 that it intensified its activities. Much later, on January 10, 1984, it began to be managed by the Castilla-La Mancha Community Board.

The Museum of Albacete guards collections that have as their main reference the territory of the province through archaeological finds, works of art, and manifestations of popular cultures studied through ethnography.
It was the Albacete Provincial Council that gave it to the State, and this, on January 10, 1984, to the Junta de Communities de Castilla-La Mancha.
