“Robin Hood: Ah, but remember faint hearts never won fair lady.”
“At the end of the day, I fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. If that makes me an outlaw, so be it. I’ve been called worse.”
"I'VE SEEN KNIGHTS IN ARMOR PANIC AT THE FIRST HINT OF BATTLE. AND I'VE SEEN THE LOWLIEST, UNARMED SQUIRE PULL A SPEAR FROM HIS OWN BODY, TO DEFEND A DYING HORSE. NOBILITY IS NOT A BIRTHRIGHT. IT'S DEFINED BY ONE'S ACTIONS."
"Oh, For Heaven's Sake, Son. You're No Outlaw. Why, Someday You'll Be Called A Great Hero."
BECAUSE THE LAW WILL NEVER BE JUST. PERHAPS IT CAN COME CLOSE— SO CLOSE THE LINE IS HARD TO SEE. BUT LAWS ARE WRITTEN BY MEN, WHO ARE IMPERFECT BY NATURE, AND JUSTICE BELONGS TO SOMETHING BEYOND THE POWER OF MEN.”
Summary

To summarize why Robin Hood to me is considered to be an epic hero, though lacking the supernatural part of most known heroes, Robin is pure of heart and has the talent and skill to protect and do good for all and this shows his determination to bring peace and justice. I think those values are what every epic hero has and needs.
Humility

Robin Hood is very humble by the basic fact that what he does is only for the benifit for others.
Cultural Legend

Everyone knows and is aware of Robin Hoods acts. I think more people know of his actions rather then knowing him as a person because he has to keep his idenity hidden to hide from the king.

Unmatched Warrior

I would say that the biggest foe Robin has is the King that is taxing the towns and no one dare goes against him except for Robin, which shows his braveness.

Supernatural Foes

I don't believe there are supernatural forces, but the power the King has over everything, can be argued to be one of very powerful. The king and his men are the biggest threat Robin
