About Chinese Spring Festival

This is a festival full of joy, starting on the first day of the Chinese calendar (December 23) and lasting about 3 weeks. It is a family holiday with full shared meals of the whole family, time to make connections with close and distant friends. This festival indicates the new year. This holiday the people makes home decorations, paint and hang pictures and special rugs for the festival and other surprises. Ties and celebrations - these are the main characteristics of the Chinese Spring Festival. The Chinese hold happy parades to the temples and performances of Chinese artists in special clothes. The streets are decorated with a variety of typical holiday decorations, the sky is lit with fireworks and the streets with lanterns Traditional Chinese was hung for the holiday. Crowds of people bought new clothes especially for the holiday and they give small money to the children.
