He was born in Cordoba at 1768 and he dead in Madrid at 1827. I his works he espress love and it was bought for Fernando VII. A lot of work of Jose Álvarez Cubero are in the Museo del Prado. One of the most famous work is La defensa de Zaragoza Defense of Zaragoza, inspired by an episode of the War of Independence
Mariano Benlliure
Mariano Benlliure was born in the Carmen neighborhood of Valencia, specifically at 16 Baja Street, into a family with a broad artistic tradition, His father was Juan Antonio Benlliure Tomás (1832-1907). He did house decoration work drawing, garden elements, vases, garlands ..., an ornamental painting much to the taste of the high society of the time. Among his older brothers, the painters Juan Antonio and José Benlliure stood out.
