What is an output device

A Output devices is a device to communicate the result of data that has been processeed. Like 1. printer 2.speaker 3. screen 4.etc....

- The concept of a computer printer was already invented by Charles Babbage in 19th century, before the computer even exists. - The first mechanical printer were made by Powers in 1914 and by Hollerith in 1921.- a japanese company made the first electronic printer in 1968. The name was the EP-101.

The speakers

The speakers allow to output sound (voice, music, ...) from the computer. Modern electrical loudspeakers had their origins in radio and telephone technology. The first simple type of electronic loudspeaker was developed by Johann Philipp Reis in 1861. First speakers were used to do calls in a factory and workshop.
