If you are using SPSS on campus, click on the Start menu > Programs> IBM SPSS Statistics> IBM SPSS Statistics 26 (or whatever is the latest version number you are using) to open the SPSS program. UPDATE THIS AS NOT ON CAMPUS

When SPSS is first started you are presented with a dialogue box asking you to open a file. You can choose a recently opened file, or choose "Open another file" option from the list on the left, or just close this dialogue box.

Step 3

When you close the dialogue box, your screen should look like the screen image below. Now you have started the SPSS Statistics.
