Marie Antoinette
Born in Vienna, Austria, in 1755, Marie Antoinette married the future French king Louis XVI when she was just 15 years old. After the outbreak of the French Revolution in 1789, the royal family was forced to live under the supervision of revolutionary authorities. In 1793, the king was executed; then, Marie Antoinette was arrested and tried for trumped-up crimes against the French republic. She was convicted and sent to the guillotine on October 16, 1793.
Achievements: 1. The only one she achieve was marrying King Louis XVI so that's why she became the queen of France at the same time that Louis XVI became king.
Marie Antoniette Achievements & Mistakes
Mistakes: 1. Thomas Jefferson said that if not for Marie Antoinette, there might have been no French Revolution. 2. She became increasingly unpopular among the people, however, with the French libelles accusing her of being harboring sympathies for France's perceived enemies.
