I love eating ice-cream.

He likes reading a lot.

We enjoy watching Netflix very much.

DISLIKE/HATE/CAN'T STAND

My daughter can't stand eating vegetables.

She dislikes going to the dentist.

I hate doing housework.

WHEN YOU NEITHER LIKE NOR DISLIKE SOMETHING

DON'T MIND

I don't mind cooking.

He doesn't mind going to the supermarket.

We don't mind studying at the weekend.

To express likes and dislikes we should use the following structure:

like, love, enjoy, hate, dislike, can't stand,etc + verb ending with -ING

  • I love walking my dogs.
  • My children hate eating fish.
  • He can't stand smoking.
  • My wife doesn't like watching football.
