the trees of amazon rainforest
One of the Main biotic factors of the Amazon Rainforest is Trees. Trees in the Amazon Rainforest create a three part environment, which are a canopy, understory, and a forest floor. The top layer of trees are the canopy, and they provide tons of sunlight reaching from the forest floor. The understory is the layer beneath the canopy, and it's filled with vines, ferns, and smaller trees. The last part of the trees is the forest floor. The forest floor is covered with decomposing plant and animal materials. Many animals, fungi and bacteria make the forest floor their home. All of these reasons are why the trees in the Amazon Rainforest are so important.
the second biotic factor of the amazon rain forest
The second biotic factor of the Amazon Rainforest are frogs. They are important in the Amazon Rainforest because they play a major role in the food chain. Throughout their lifecycle frogs have an important place in the food chain as a predator (an animal who tries to catch other animals for food) and a pray (an animal who is caught and eaten by the predator. When the frogs are tadpoles and just beginning their life they help regulate blooms and the reducing the chances of algal contamination.
the rainfall
The yearly rainfall in the Amazon Rainforest is at least 80 inches per year. Most of thehumidity at the Amazon Rainforest is because of all the rain per year.
