1. They made chinampas which are floating islands, or island cities.2. The causeways were connected to the mainland called Tenochtitlán, but they were always crowded with travellers. 3. Poets wrote verses to sing the praises of the gods, to tell stories, and to celebrate the natural world. 4.Music and dance were important features of Aztec ceremonies and holidays, and people dressed up for these special occasions.

1. Suspension bridges were significant because they saved travel time.2. Water Canals were significant because that brought water to the top of a hillside of terraces. 3. Textiles were significant because the quality and design of a person's clothes were a sign of status. 4. Quipis were significant because because the Incas did not have a written language, they developed an ingenious substitute: the knotted sets of strings called quipus.
