The Maya

1. Calendar year: The Maya calculated the leangth of the year, which was important because it gave them the correct time to plant and harvest crops.2. Weaving: The Maya made colorful woven clothing with many techniques that helped them stay warm. 3. Temples: The Maya built temples that are still standing today. 4. Hieroglyphs: The Maya daveloped a system of hieroglyphs that enabled them to write down almost everything that was said.

The Aztec

1. Chinampas: The Aztecs used reeds and lumber to create floating islands that they lived on, called chinampas. They provided places for the Aztecs to live and farm.2. Causeways: The Aztecs built bridges called causeways that allowed them to travel and also served as dikes if the lake flooded. 3. Music/dance: The Aztecs used music and dance in elaborate religious rituals. 4. Painting and sculpting: They were also gifted painters and sculptures. They used brilliant colors to create scenes showing gods and religious ceremonies.

The Inca

1. Roads: The Inca empire had massive streches of roads that enableed one part of the empire to connect to oter parts of the empire. 2. Trephination: The Inca used a medical technique called trephination that helped heal wounded soldiers and advance medical technology. 3. Stone buildings: The Inca built buildings out of stone that stood through many earthquakes, providing the Inca with safe places to live. 4. Quipus: The Inca had messengers called quipus that ran and delivered messages to other parts of the epire, which made it easier for the Inca to communicate.
