OUR ENCRYPTION METHOD

OUR ENCRYPTION METHOD
How did we construct the encryption method
IT IS BASED ON THE CAESAR CIPHER
We constructed a modification over Caesar Cipher, automatically selecting the Key depending on the sender and receptor and including a last trick for the message to be more difficult to decipher
FIRST OF ALL, WE SELECT THE KEY
- If Jaime sends a message to Rafael, we select the first letter of each name: J and R.
- J is the 10th letter of the alphabet
- R is the 18th letter of the alphabet
- We add both numbers: 10 + 18 = 28
- And add both digits to have a number lower than 26 and higher than 0: 2 + 8 = 10.
- The Key we are using to cypher our message will be 10!
NOW, WE USE CAESAR CIPHER TO ENCRYPT OUR MESSAGE
Each letter is replaced by the one placed as many positions apart as the key specifies.
THE LAST STEP IS TO REVERSE THE ORDER OF THE LETTERS IN EACH OF THE WORDS
EXAMPLE
If Alberto sends to Rafael the following message: "Are we meeting this afternoon?" We will see the process of encryption
EXAMPLE
1st step: Calculate the key: A: 1st letter; R: 18th letter--> K = 19 2nd step: Cypher the message Tkx px fxxmbgz mabl tymxkghhg? 3rd step: Reverse the order: Xkt xp zgbmxxf lbam ghhgkxmyf?

Do you want to try?
We give you some minutes to try to cypher this message: We like this method As if Spain send the message to Poland

FINALLY, WE WOULD LIKE TO PRESENT OUR CLASS
We are students of the 4th year of Secondary Compulsory Studies. We are part of the Bilingual program, so we study Maths in English.
THAK YOU!
