How Great Britain looks like?

In this picture we can see Buckingham Palace!! It's the Royal Family's residence.

The Great Britain's history is different from the story of the others countries. It's really interesting and the simbols that represent it are a lot.

Radiohead

London during COVID-19

Radiohead are an English rock band formed in 1985. The band consists of Thom Yorke, brothers Jonny and Colin Greenwood, Ed O'Brien and Philip Selway.

Today the number of infections has increased. England is in national lockdown. Everyone stay at home to return to be happy and to reunite with friends and family!

QUEEN ELIZABETH.

The coronation of Elizabeth II took place on 2 June 1953 at Westminster Abbey, London. Elizabeth II acceded to the throne at the age of 25 upon the death of her father, George VI.

She's still alive and she's 94!!I guess she'll never die

It is the oldest regiment in the British Army in continuous active service.

THE UNION JACK

It's the flag of the UK and it combines the crosses of the three countries. The flag consists of three heraldic crosses. The cross of St George, patron saint of England is a red cross on a white ground. The cross saltire of St Andrew, patron saint of Scotland, is a diagonal white cross on a blue ground. The cross saltire of St Patrick, patron saint of Ireland, is a diagonal red cross on a white ground.

THE BIG BEN

Is one of the most famous monument of Great Britain. Is a gigantic clock in gothic style, that's near the Parlament.

Red Double Decked

They are normal buses but with double-deckers! Big red buses are recognised all over the world as symbols of London. They don't need to have the words "London Transport" on the side of them. They are instantly recognised by millions of people!

Red Telephone Box

it's the London's typical telephone kiosk for a public telephone box and it was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott

Royal Mail Group is a British multinational postal service and courier company, originally established in 1516 as a department of the English government.

Piccadilly Circus

Piccadilly Circus is a road junction and public space of London's West End in the City of Westminster. Is particularly known for its video display and neon signs mounted on the corner building on the northern side, as well as the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain and statue of Anteros.
