Solids
The atoms are close together in neat rows and move sluggishly. Solids are nonmalleable and take up as much space as their mass. Energy added makes liquids, and subtracted, no change.
Liquids
The atoms are loose and move in a moderate speed.Liquids are malleable and take up as much space as their mass Energy added makes gas, and subtracted, a solid.
Gas
The atoms are free and moving at very big speeds. Gases are malleable and takes up space wherever there is room. Eneregy added can create plasma, and subtracted, a liquid
What is plasma?
Plasma is the 4th state of matter after gas. When there is too much energy in gas, the atoms lose their outer electrons and become plasma
