DIRECTED WRITING: HIGHER GERMAN
introduction
PLAN & STRUCTURE
CHOOSE SCENARIO
Make a paragraph plan of the remaining bullet points. The last bullet point usually covers the conclusion.
Read the scenario you have chosen. Write an intro which covers the first bullet point, answers when/where/why/with whom/ how etc. and relates back to the scenario
Read both scenarios carefully. Make a firm decision on which selection of bullet points you are most confident in.
check & amend
write the skeleton
piece together
Piece together the different parts of your writing: include paragraph starters, different word order, complex sentences, connectives and adjectives
Now check over your work. Have you covered all the bullet points? Are your verbs correct? Do you have some WOW sentences? Is your spelling accurate? Have you written enough?
Use the 10-sentence method to make a rough draft of content and vocabulary. This is when you decide what you want to include in your writing
