types of adverbs:
look:

Describe how and in what way the action of a verb is carried out.
example:
They sing beautifully.

adverbs of manner form from adjectives:
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit, sed diam nonummy
example:
I´m happy and I live happily in my house.
1. The cat is happy. adjective 2. The cat lives happily. adverb
The adverb can be formed by adding "-ly" to the adjective.
if the adjective ends in with "y", replace the "y" with an "I" and add "-ly"

1. The students listen to the teacher quietly. 2. Those fish swim slowly. 3. He doesn´t read quickly.

With adverbs ending in -ly, use more to form the comparative.

She plays the guitar more quietly than him.
EXAMPLE:

He plays the piano more seriously than her.
EXAMPLE:
Who dances more gracefully?
She dances more gracefully than her.
EXAMPLE:
Who eats more healthily?
The cat eats more healthily than the dog.
SOME ADVERBS ARE IDENTICAL TO ADJECTIVES.

some adverbs have irregular comparative forms.
EXAMPLE:
Who plays the drums worse?.
He plays the drums worse than him.
