Hobbies and Sports - Going Extreme

Teenagers, but especially young adults, who are fed up with their dull routines and seek new thrills, have found exciting ways of pushing sports a bit further. It is a major challenge to put their lives on the line and feel they are having a risky adventure! There is almost a sport for each one of us and our own profile as an amateur extreme athlete. To have that amazing rush of adrenaline, you may combine height, speed and danger with extreme physical effort without forgetting to follow all the safety instructions recommended and using highly specialised equipment to guarantee it. Skydiving, rappelling, parkour or volcano surfing are growing in popularity and people actually travel to specific places to try them! Then there are other sports for those who consider themselves the ultimate brave heroes of extreme sports. Take base-jumping, for instance. It consists of using a parachute to jump from various fixed objects, like buildings, bridges, arches or domes and earth, just for the love of jumping. One of the record breakers of this sport jumped from the Indian Himalayas! So, if you want to challenge yourself and push your limits, go extreme and you'll probably get addicted to it!
