Look at these cute kitten! They are three good brothers that behave very well. They are very young and do not move very fast as Pipo. At night some fast and dangerous cats come to my garden and try to fight with Pipo, but my cat is a hard and strong pet that can fight hard. Anyway, Pipo just moves slowly around the invaders and make them run away!
In the sentences above, is good and adjective or and adverb? Is well and adjective or and adverb? In "...move very fast..." is fast adjective or adverb? In"...some fast and..." is fast adjective or adverb?
Only adjectives not adverbs.
Hey cute Kitten you seem very relaxed. How do you feel?
Listen to my meows, I sound strong, like a lion!
I'm getting more confident!
I look powerful, don't you think?
I'm fine, I dont feel nervous!
We use adjectives, not adverbs, after these verbs: seem, look, feel, get(become), sound, taste, smell, etc.
Adjectives Versus Adverbs
Touch me
Most of the adverbs are derivative words from adjectives. We just modify them by adding -LY. Look at the chart, touch the fish bones.
