What Happens To Your Body After a Swimming Race

Link has just completed a fierce swim through the icy waters in the Great Pleateau. Much like our champion, our bodies need a special energy source called ATP, which acts like Link's stamina potion. Just as Link collects rupees to power up, our cells use ATP to fuel all the amazing things our bodies do, especially after an intense race. It's like our own magical currency, ensuring we have the energy to keep going, just like Link in his adventures.

Johanna Under the Ice

Link has woken up in the icy world of the Great Plateau, just like humans diving into the freezing Arctic waters. Just as those brave divers need warmth to keep their bodies safe in the cold, Link too relies on his body's special system called 'homeostasis.' This system helps him maintain the right temperature, just like a cozy blanket in winter, ensuring he stays warm and ready to face the challenges of his icy surroundings.

Homeostasis Project

  • You can decide what this looks like - you could lock it until the other assignment are done (and a certain XP are earned for example).
  • Once this is grade, the XP could level up the student and give them access to the next region (and you can unlock it manually when you're ready).

Positive/Negative Feedback

Link is on the Great Plateau, shivering in the icy winds. His body, like a smart guardian, uses something called 'negative feedback' to keep him warm. When he's too cold, his body triggers a response - like wearing warmer clothes - to bring his temperature back to normal. So, just as Link learns to adapt in the chilly world of Hyrule, our bodies too have incredible powers to keep us comfortable and safe, thanks to the magic of negative feedback!"

Why People are Always Fighting Over the Thermostat

Picture the diverse world of Hyrule, where different races and creatures coexist, each with their unique traits. Similarly, humans have their own magical trait – different internal temperatures! Just like the Gorons prefer the heat of Death Mountain while the Zoras thrive in the cool waters, humans have varied 'thermostats' inside them. Some run a bit warmer, like the Gorons, while others run cooler, akin to the Zoras.
