Present continuous changes to past continuous
The baby's sleeping!' RS: She said the baby was sleeping Our dog is playing. RS: They said their dog was playing. They are eating soup. RS: They said they were eating soup.
Present perfect changes to pp. I have hurt my leg.' RS: She said she had hurt her leg.. I have eaten my hamburguer. RS:He said he had eaten his hamburguer.
Direct speech: 'I love the Toy Story films. Indirect speech: She said she loved the TTF. Direct speech: 'I am workings as a waiter,. Indirect speech: He said he was working as a waiter. Direct speech: We have been in China. Indirect speech: They said that they had been in China.
