1. To describe an imaginary present situation and its past consequence. Structure: If + past simple, would/wouldn't have +past participle. Example: If I liked that group, I would have gone to see them in concert.
2. To describe an imaginary past situation and its present consequence. Structure: If + past perfect, would/wouldn't have + infinitive. Example: If I had had breakfast, I wouldn't be hungry now.
Is a combination of the second and third conditional.
Example: If we had brought a map, we wouldn't be lost now.
