THE USE:

We use Should or Shouldn´t when we are going to:

• Give and advice:
• I think you should go to the doctor
• You shouldn’t drink alcohol

• Show an obligation or a duty:
• You should wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle.
• You shouldn’t smoke in here

THE ESTRUCTURE:

In positive sentences:

Subject + SHOULD + verb in based form + complement You should eat vegetables

In negative sentences:

Subject + SHOULD + NOT + verb in based form + complement She should not say that

In interrogative sentences:

SHOULD + Subject + verb in based form+ complement Should John write these phrases?
