There was a beautiful place, with a sapphire colored sea...
... and a shining sun in a clear blue sky.
There lived a honest and handsome nobleman whose name was Vesuvius
Salvete, omnes!
Hi everyone!Let me introduce myself: I'm Vesuvius, and I belong to an ancient and powerful family.
There also lived a smart, beautiful woman, with delicate features and cerulean eyes.Her name was Capri
Ave!
Hello!I'm Capri, nice to meet you! My family is the most important and influential in all of the gulf.
And then one day
Vesuvius and Capri met by chance in the crowded Forum, the main square of the city.
It was love at first sight...

True Love blossomed between the two
But...
Their families werealways fighting. Old grievances sparked once again between their households!
The two lovers were forbidden from seeing each other.Capri could not cope with the pain of separation...
...and so her family decided to send her away on a boat...
The Gods, moved by her miserable fate, decided to help Capri. They turned her into an island, brimming with joy and life.
Vesuviusdiscovered Capri's fate...
And turned himself into a volcano.His frequent bursts of rage made everyone in the gulf tremble with fear.
Vesuvius was angry
He could not embrace his love anymore, so he wanted everyone to pay!
And from that day,they could only look at each other from afar
