Describing Films
START
We can describe films in two ways:
Using "It made me..."
Using "it was..."
- We finish this phrase with a verb (laugh, cry, smile).
- The verb we use goes in BASE FORM (not conjugated).
- We use this phrase to describe the reactions we had during the film.
- We finish this phrase with an adjective (boring, sad, funny).
- We normally use adjectives that finish in -ing (amazing, interesting).
- When we use this phrase we are describing what we think of the film.

Suffixes -ing and -ed in Adjectives
We use adjectives with -ed:

When we want to describe the way we feel about something or someone: I was bored when I watched Titanic.
When we want to describe the chracteristics of something or someone: Titanic is a boring film.
Choose the correct adjective for each sentence.
- I think Jumanji was a very exciting / excited film.
- I felt relaxing / relaxed by the music in Soul.
- We were surprising / surprised by the ending of Infinity War.
- Jurassic World's visual effects were amazing / amazed !
- He was satisfying / satisfied by the adaptation of Sonic into a film.
- Star Wars always shows fascinating / fascinated creatures.
