SUMMARY

In the middle of the search her snowbike broke so she and Akiak were lost. Akiak found an old boat and they took refuge under it. later they found the hunters floating in a piece of ice, she seved them with the boat. a few minutes later a rescue helicopter appeared thanks to her english fried Jennifer.

In the Inuit village where Maggie lives, people have a big problem, they don't have food anymore. Men went to hunt, and Maggie, as a girl, culd not go with them. But Maggie was tired of waiting for them so she decided to go and find them with her dog Akiak.

PERSONAL OPINION

It is a good story, very short and it's sad to know that they didn't find the cariboues, anyway, it's interesting to know that some people have a very different life that we'll never know how is it.

What did you learn? they are simple people, they need to hunt to have food and robes, we haven't, we have the luck of having all of this in shops and markets.It's strange to know that some people have a life so diferent fom ours.
