Understanding their Initial Assessment

Once you have clicked your selected learner, you can choose required assessment.

The ‘Learning Plan’ tab shows the results of the initial assessment. The blue boxes display the level the learner achieved. As the learner works through WEST and correctly completes ‘Check your skills’ assessments, the blue boxes will progress to the next level.

To look further into the initial assessment, click the ‘Learning Record’ tab. Here you can see how long the initial assessment took. You can also look into the "questions and answer" tab to see which questions the learner answered correctly. You can also click into the incorrect question to see the correct answer.

The ‘Question and Answer’ tab is especially useful as the asterix symbol next to the question number indicates if a learner has dyslexic or dyscalculia tendendcies.Click into "tutor resources" for futher information.
